In 2017 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared a public health emergency and announced a 5-Point Strategy To Combat the Opioid Crisis. Join us for this session as Attorneys from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Civil Rights, and Disability Rights Section discuss issues impacting persons with Opioid Use Disorders and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The speakers will discuss Justice Department efforts to eliminate discriminatory barriers to treatment and recovery programs.
