The AccessibilityOnline Series utilizes a variety of formats depending on the topic. The primary form of delivery is via a web based conferencing system. Some sessions will be delivered utilizing audio conference technology. All sessions utilize fully accessible technology to ensure equal participation by all interested individuals.
What is a Webinar?
- A webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the internet. The online conferencing system used for Accessibilityonline provides the most accessible conferencing and collaboration experience possible. Individuals can participate in a fully-accessible, online conference from anywhere that they can access the internet.

What is Audio Conference?
- An audio conference is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is delivered via the telephone. The Accessibilityonline audio conference format allows participants to access the conference by dialing a toll free number.
What is CART (Communication Access Real Time Transcription) or Real-Time Captioning?
- CART, also known as Real-Time Captioning is where simultaneous word for word transcription is provided and most commonly used by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The Accessibilityonline program provides CART using web based tools for both the webinar and audio conference programs.
