Biography


Ali Abdolrahmani holds a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing with a focus on accessibility and assistive technology research. His research has examined ways in which mainstream technologies may be leveraged to enhance the independent living of individuals who are blind. Ali has collaborated with Toyota to develop indoor wayfinding solutions for both blind and sighted individuals, using computer vision and mainstream voice assistants. As an assistive technology expert who is a blind screen reader user, Ali is currently seeking career opportunities to promote digital and web accessibility to ensure that people with varying abilities can enjoy equal and inclusive digital access.
