Social Networking Sites and Accessibility: Implications for Employers

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Social networking has tremendous potential for employers to outreach to people with disabilities. However, employers need to be concerned about the use of such technologies in their business practices and the growing concern over the accessibility of such technology. Careful consideration should be given to how it can be effectively used to reach out to and interact with people with disabilities. Join this session where members of the Job Accommodation Network Staff will discuss the critical issues and how they can be addressed by employers.
