Biography


Shannon M. Mulhall, NIC, ACTCP, is the Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator for the City of Fresno, CA and a certified sign language interpreter. Mulhall approaches all aspects of accessibility with an encouraging education focus and an emphasis on the positive role everyone can play in providing equal opportunities to all members of the public. She is keenly interested in exploring ways to expand community outreach, website/technology accessibility, whole community preparedness, and effective communication.

Mulhall has a wide range of experience presenting online and in-person for entities including but not limited to the CSUN National Center on Deafness, the ADA National Network, National ADA Symposium, Citizen Corp/CERT, Safe + Ready Institute, International Public Safety Association, Central CA Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, and Resources for Independence Central Valley. She develops and conducts staff trainings on a reoccurring basis, partners with local community organizations serving individuals with disabilities for community education seminars, and is regularly requested to guest lecturer in courses at local colleges and universities on topics related to ADA and inclusion.
