Biography


Christine Woodell has been actively working in the disability arena for over 30 years. She graduated from Biloxi High School, attended USM, Louisiana College and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, attending both in Hattiesburg and on the Gulf Coast. As a military wife, she lived in various places in the United States and in England. While working with the MS Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, she had the opportunity to attend intensive training on the ADA with the ADA Training and Implementation Network directly from the Federal enforcement agencies. Over the past 30 years, she has worked with the Coalition for Citizens with Disabilities, LIFE of Mississippi and the Southeast ADA Center in Atlanta providing technical assistance and training throughout the southeast and nationally. She now has her own company, ADA Services, Inc, in addition to her part time contract with the Southeast ADA Center. Her personal experience with disability and this training have allowed her to share her unique perspective on disability and the law to enhance ADA compliance and her understanding of disability issues.
