Description
Join this 90 minute session that will go into detail of describing the steps involved in the interactive process and
how to perform these steps. We will also discuss the importance of making a good faith effort in
engaging in the interactive process steps, what is meant by good faith effort, how to
demonstrate good faith effort, how to explore accommodations in good faith, and the
consequences if an employer fails to engage in these efforts. Attendees will learn how to
effectively identify an employee’s barriers to performance and talk about how to work with the
employee during the interactive process by explaining to him or her how the interactive process
works, what is expected of them, and possible outcomes.
