Arts-N-Rec

The Arts-n-Rec Webinar Series is designed to enhance an individual’s knowledge on ADA issues addressing the arts world (e.g., performance, museums, zoos, exhibitions, concerts, fairs, etc.) and indoor and outdoor recreation activities (e.g., sports, camps and classes, fishing, hiking, camping, races/marathons, etc.).

Participating in the Arts-n-Rec Webinar Series can support professional development of an individual, an entire department or an entire agency. We encourage entities to invite individuals, co-workers, or community partners, to participate at your site and increase participation. Site coordinators can use the time following each session to debrief on the subject, facilitate discussion of their agency's ADA compliance program and dialogue "where do we go from here?" to improve the agency's response to the ADA.

Human generated captioning is provided. Participation in the program is via the Zoom webinar platform or via telephone. Unless otherwise noted, the sessions are 90 minutes in length.
