Description

“Instead of saying no, what you should say is, what exactly do you need to participate, let's talk about that.“ Join us for this session as the presenter will address how cultural organizations can best include and welcome visitors and audiences of all ages with disabilities. How to respond to ADA requirements by engagement in a dialogue and discussion with your visitors and patrons. It is possible to provide effective communication, accessible seating/ticketing, modifications in policies/procedures, etc. so that patrons with disabilities may access the rich and diverse cultural programs and arts available through cultural organizations. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speaker questions following the presentation.
