Description
The Milwaukee Public Museum strives to make its exhibits, programs, and facilities accessible to all visitors. During this session, the Milwaukee Public Museum staff will walk through their process of building a brand new and inclusive museum from the concept, planning, and implementation of the build. From requesting audio signaled crosswalks to providing adult-sized changing facilities and accessible engagement opportunities, there are many factors to consider when building from the ground up. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions following the presentation.
