On December 2nd, 2020, the Department of Justice and Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, entered into an agreement to resolve the department’s findings of disability discrimination in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Join us for this special session when a representative from the U.S. Department of Justice explains the terms of the agreement, details about the $2.25 million monetary fund, who is eligible for compensation and how individuals impacted by the inaccessibility of stations may apply. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker regarding the settlement agreement.
