Description
This session will provide an overview of the role of an ADA coordinator and practical strategies and tips to get the job done. Discussion will include how to get started as a new ADA Coordinator, common challenges experienced by ADA Coordinators and strategies to address them, effective collaboration with community partners, and how to move your entity beyond minimum compliance. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speaker questions following the presentation.
Note: This session will focus on the role of the ADA Coordinator in state and local government entities, but the principles may be applied to the work of an ADA Coordinator working for any type of entity.
