Heidi Swevens is an artist and collaborator with 30 years of experience in human services and the arts. “Do You See What I See?” was created for the University of Vermont’s Disability Awareness Month in 2006. Access features like large print, Braille, and verbal description were essential parts of the show. This reflected her values of joy and justice with art at the center. Since then, Heidi has facilitated learning and creativity in many contexts. She also has coordinated exhibitions featuring disabled artists.
