Biography

Robb is the Executive Director of the National Center on Accessibility and Bradford Woods, Indiana University's Outdoor Center. Gary is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation and Park Administration, School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Indiana University. Working with people with disabilities in recreation environments for more than 30 years, Gary has served on the U.S. Access Board's Regulatory Negotiation Committee for Developed Outdoor Areas, assisting in the development of accessibility guidelines for outdoor recreation environments. Gary has provided national leadership in the development of standards and programs related to golf and people with disabilities. He is currently the first President of the National Alliance for Accessible Golf (located at Indiana University and housed at NCA). The Alliance is a coalition of national organizations including all of the major golf governing bodies in the USA along with Universities and programs providing instruction and other services for golfers with disabilities. Gary holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Utah, and in 1984 was named the distinguished alumni of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services, School of Health from the university.
