Biography


Wendy is a Program Director at the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability (YTI) located within the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. Wendy leads the Institute’s work in Disability Inclusion and Accommodation. Wendy is the Project Director of the NIDILRR-funded Northeast ADA Center and is a Co-Project Director for the ODEP-funded Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN). In addition, she leads a team focused on developing fee-for-service products that aid employers in building disability-inclusive workplaces. Much of the work Wendy does centers around knowledge translation; this means she conceptualizes and creates content to translate employer-focused research into information products that aid with applying that knowledge within organizations. Wendy holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She has worked extensively in the application and training of issues around employment and reasonable accommodation in the workplace for people with disabilities.
