Biography


David Knight is an attorney in the Disability Rights Section of the Department of Justice, and was one of the attorneys who investigated and ultimately settled the Amtrak station accessibility lawsuit. He has worked in the areas of accessible transportation for 17 years, first at the Federal Transit Administration, and now at the Department of Justice. He also has significant experience in the areas of HIV discrimination, opioid use disorder discrimination, barriers to physical access, coordinating enforcement with United States Attorney’s Offices, and LGBTI discrimination
